We accept insurance in network and cash pay. Insurance is always a complex area, so if you are unsure about your cover, call us and we will check it for you before you book.

A sliding scale is available. If cost is a barrier to getting care, tell us when you contact the office and we will let you know whether you may be eligible.

We do not want cost to be the reason someone goes without care. A reduced rate may be available depending on your circumstances. Ask us when you get in touch.
Cancellations
Please give as much notice as you can if you need to change or cancel an appointment, so the slot can be offered to someone else.

Find your details
Have your insurance card to hand. You will need the plan name, the member ID and the group number.
Contact the office
Call (281) 503-4673 or email us with those details and tell us you are a new client. We will check whether we are in network for your specific plan.
Confirm and book
We will tell you what your appointment will cost, including any co-pay or deductible, and then book you in.
Questions about cost
Yes. You can be seen as a self pay client at $150 per session, and a sliding scale may apply if you are eligible. It is also worth calling us anyway, because networks change and your plan may be covered under a name that is not listed here.
The first appointment is a full psychiatric evaluation and is longer than a follow up. Tell us at the point of booking whether you are using insurance or self pay, and we will confirm the exact cost before you attend.
Most plans cover telehealth on the same basis as an office visit, but this varies. We will confirm your specific cover when you contact us.
The sliding scale reduces the self pay fee based on your circumstances. There is no long application. Raise it when you first contact the office and we will discuss it with you directly and discreetly.
Health savings and flexible spending accounts can usually be used for psychiatric care. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, which covers most HSA and FSA cards. Check with your plan administrator if you are unsure.
